The unique feature of this plant is its scalability due to associated electro-mechanical modules and that it has a split arrangement which allows the plant to operate as a single 45,000TR plant or as two (2) independent plants. This proved to be useful for the client during the economic crisis in 2008 as it allowed them to reduce their total investment to more effectively match their available load. The final installed capacity is 25,000TR including thermal energy storage, which all went up in nine (9) months. The building foot print was 90m x 60m and required no basement.
